buffalo sabres: I own 8 jerseys. 5 Sabres jerseys, 2 Jets, and a Team North America jersey. vancouver canucks : Honestly? None. I like my two teams and that’s enough for me. I’m not that person to fall in love with a ton of teams. Sabres and Jets are it for me and the Sabres more so than the Jets. colorado avalanche: Hasek will always be the love of my heart. Currently though it’s probably Hellebyuck. winnipeg jets: It ain’t the Jets, let me tell you. I am going to say Tampa will finally do it.
i couldn't agree more, god. i was there and watching that game felt like taking a child's carefully crafted piece of art (off-season hopes and dreams), smashing it, and then dancing on the shards. only one game, for sure, but to not even score one goal in the fucking opener is atrocious. but... that being said, i look forward to watching the game tomorrow and hoping they wake tf up...
I paid more money than I usually would to go because I was getting excited and I thought it would be cool to see a home opener. Definitely regrets there. Got the free shirt and everything and I was literally staring at it last night thinking that it feels kind of embarrassing to be celebrating a game like that by memorializing it with a shirt. Literally everyone was screwing up, passing into the abyss, falling all over themselves...all teams take time to gel but they had all of training camp and preseason and they looked worse than they did in preseason.
(I mean I’ll still be watching because I’m a masochist and I’ve never intentionally skipped watching a game in over five years but it still sucks.)
