As an artist I never understand that one day I draw something beautiful that I am proud to call my own. Then the next day I draw something that lowers my self esteem at least by 67%. The thing is, artists have bad days. A lot of them at times. All of the people in the picture above is me, through out the year. Every once in awhile I try a self portraits. Sometimes I have good days, and sometimes I have bad. Through out the year I tried new styles and techniques with my art to try and improve. And I look back and see some flaws, but I also see some good details I like. And that's important. So if you are having a bad art day, or week, or months, just keep trying. Maybe save those flaws in a folder. You might see something you like.
