Living under the sun in Irvine, Guillermo Santos is currently 36 years old and is a production and media entrepreneur. In the land of hopes and dreams, Guillermo aspires to leave the cartel to open a legal business with no ties to drug money and strive for normalcy in his lawless life. The juicy scoop? His story:
Guillermo Santos was born in San Diego, California to Mexican immigrant parents who moved to the United States. His family is wealthy and highly known in the community from all their businesses and philanthropic efforts. He was given the best education to continue the family businesses and had a decent upbringing. His parents were caring and loving to him and his six siblings. However, most are not aware of their strong ties to the Guadalajara Cartel. His mother was the daughter of the founder while his father worked up to become grandfather's lawyer and commander in the United States. After an assassination attempt, the family moved to a ranch in San Diego and became allies with the Tijuana Cartel. Even though Guillermo went to school and finished college for business, he also studied media production. He was obligated to learn the cartel life, yet his interests were elsewhere. They have prospered largely because the Guadalajara Cartel enjoys the protection of the Mexican DFS intelligence agency and bribed DEA agents. Guillermo wants to make his family proud, but most recently has been traveling and producing movies instead of shipping cocaine and marijuana.
