It’s no secret that most teens have no idea how to make love. They think they know, but there’s far too much fumbling around, finishing early and not going down on a girl to call it love making. While Elena’s first time wasn’t with Stefan, he was the first guy to show her what making love should feel like. This is no diss to Matt who was a very gentle, caring lover, but first times are often clumsy, awkward and full of awkward body moments. It doesn’t help when only one person is fully invested in the relationship. Elena’s first time with Stefan was what girls dreams about when reading trashy romance novels. Stefan was experienced. Stefan was not afraid to explore places with his mouth that other ‘young’ men likely wouldn’t have. He made Elena completely forget all about her awkward first time. When she thinks back on her first time, she can’t help but think back to the night where she finally took Caroline’s advice and let Stefan have his way with her.
As a bonus, one of Elena’s favorite ways to be taken by Stefan was in their morning bath before class. It was always a slow, sleepy process, for being in Stefan’s arms wasn’t exactly motivation to get ready for class. But then the sex would turn frantic — hurried — because Elena refused to get dressed until she was shaking in Stefan’s arms. Only then would she allow him to whisk her out of their bath while they somehow managed to dress in ten minutes flat. Being a few seconds late to class with her hair barely brushed always made Caroline roll her eyes, but it was so, so worth it in Elena’s mind.
