1. Name a book that you read before you were 14 that has a special place in your heart. The Gunslinger (Dark Tower Book One) by Stephen King. I never got too far in that series (still need to finish it). It was over my head, but a lot of the imagery stuck with me. 2. What means summer to you? Recently, not much. But, back in NH, summer meant walking around Portsmouth and taking long night drives along the coast with the guys and shooting the shit. 3. You have two weeks off and five thousand dollars to blow. What do you do? Book a boat trip over to England, watch Liverpool play at Anfield, and then explore Europe. 4. What kind of candy do you absolutely despise? I'm an equal opportunity candy-eater. 5. Do you trust people easily?  A lot of people was say that I do too easily. 6. What is your comfort TV show? (What will you put on in the background when you’re doing other things, like a cozy sweater?)

7. Do you nap? What is your ideal napping situation? I do nap. The ideal (solo) nap would be in my own bed on a summer afternoon with a light blanket, an open window, and a fan going. Tank top and basketball shorts. 8. What is the one thing you will always splurge on? I'm gonna have to agree with Leslie on this one. Just one thing?! Booze, food (including trips to restaurants), kitchen supplies, clothing, watches, shoes, and cigars. 9. What one question would you like to ask everyone and they’d have to answer truthfully? Are you coming with me on my next adventure? 10. What fictional character gives you strength? Peter Grant (Rivers of London Series by Ben Aaronovitch). I'm only finished with book one, but it's the best supernatural detective novel I've read so far.

DEAR JULIE

You’re so beautiful. And even more so on the inside. I’ve never met you, but you have the biggest heart of anyone I have met. You’ve gone through so much, and you’re still going through it. I don’t think I could be as strong and fight as hard as you are. It’s weird, but I love you. I love you’re ambition to overcome everything. I love how you’re willing to open up to people. And I just love you. You are an AMAZING person, and I can’t get over how proud I am of you. Even though we don’t talk much, I think about you and struggles everyday.
