1. Which language do you never make time for? Unfortunately, Russian. I’m living in a Russian-speaking country and taking Russian lessons regularly, but because I learn it in my surroundings I haven’t been making time to improve at home. It’s something that definitely needs to change while I’m still living here. 2. Which language do you think you’ll never learn? Georgian, even though I think the script looks amazing and I’d like to travel there one day. I just don’t think I’ll ever have the time with my current list of target languages. :’( 3. What’s your most expensive/least valuable language related investment? Most expensive: working/studying abroad when it’s possible (travel expenses) and least expensive: shampoo bottles and products with multilingual packaging.

4. What’s a lie you tell to non language learners to try and get them to learn languages? Not always a lie, but: the film doesn’t have any foreign subs so I guess you’ll just have to learn the language 5. What’s your language learning guilty pleasure? Testing out new accents/vocabulary, having a current library/reading list that only consists of books in languages that weren’t my first, passing for a native speaker

Which language do you never make time for?

Finnish. I study spanish in school and have to use and study french regularly and norwegian i use on a daily basis to write in. I try to learn at least four words a day, but i never have time to fully sit down and study finnish between everything else. Maybe over spring break when my head is a little clear.

Which language do you think you’ll never learn?

Probably latin, or esperanto. Possibly russian ?

What’s your most expensive/least valuable language related investment?

Most expensive is probably the books i buy for languages i’m not studying and therefore don’t use(smh :/) least valuable is probably my notebooks idk

What’s a lie you tell to non language learners to try and get them to learn languages?

It’s not that hard (which is true but not true all the time)

Buying books for languages i don’t study and writing in my target language so other people can’t read it lol

Tagged by no one, I do what I want.

1. Which language do you never make time for? Arabic :/ I definitely consider it one of my main languages atm but I never study it during my everyday like I do with German or Scottish Gaelic. 2. Which language do you think you’ll never learn? Most of them? But specifically Japanese I guess. I think the three alphabets are so cool I just don’t really enjoy learning new scripts.  3. What’s your most expensive/least valuable language related investment? I usually don’t buy things more than 15$ so not applicable. 4. What’s a lie you tell to non language learners to try and get them to learn languages? Not completely a lie but I tell people that it’s not as difficult as it seems. idk not applicable. I usually just tell them the truth? Which is that it’s hard but fun/rewarding?

5. What’s your language learning guilty pleasure?  Trying to use materials and media way above my level, which I do too much :)))))
