What's for dinner • Niku Donburi (肉丼) 🍖🍚 · A pleasant array of donburi has arrived in Penang. We've tried the Salted Egg Crispy Pork and Umami Pork Bowl. The salted egg bowl definitely had a decent amount of salted egg sauce and a relatively decent amount of crispy porkie goodness - crispy bacon alert! The umami pork bowl definitely fills you up with umami flavour. Those stick in each bowl, that's the Gohaniku Pork Stix. They're just like pork satay. · We also had the Milo Bingsu and Hunny-Lemon Bingsu. Be warned, they are very generous with the milo in the milo bingsu - very thick milo sauce yo! What's for snack & dessert • Fries and pancakes! 🍟🥞 · A lovely evening with the nomsters. We ordered the truffle fries and 2 different pancakes; choco banana pancake and original pancake. The pancakes were fluffy and not too sweet. Choco banana pancake comes with a scoop of chocolate ice cream and chocolate syrup whereas the original pancake comes with vanilla ice cream and honey. I personally love the original pancake as the chocolate on the choco banana pancake was quite rich and overwhelming to me. What's for dessert • Poop shaped ice cream! 💩 · The name is Poopies. Ain't the name cute? Hahaha. The pink one is Bandung flavour whereas the white one is Soursop flavour. What's for drinks • A visit to a speakeasy bar. 🥃 · I had the opportunity to visit a speakeasy bar while I was in KL few weeks back. It was kinda hard to find the bar without staring at the flood for the sign. 😅 · The bar has a slight medieval theme to it and the drinks were quite unique. We chose to the drinks that were not from the menu to see what concoction the bartender can cook up for us.
