The rosette really cleaned up. In it's age it has dried out and the strange filler material it's been made from were beginning to come loose

Lovely example of an Epiphone Sheraton that was in last week suffering with some playability issues. Slightly lifting upper frets (coupled with a bad setup), were contributing to horrible buzzing and rattling, even with the action quite high. A reseat and minor dress, really allowed me to dial in the customers desired setup. There was also some unsightly buckle rash on the back... put there by the previous owner, which I bugged out. Sorry for the lack of posts, but it’s been crazy busy in the workshop of late. I had to share this 2001 Suhr Custom STD with you though. It was in for a full setup and service and to have a set of EM85/SA/SA fitted. Happy to say that there was only just enough room inside the control cavity for everything, including the battery.... I really didn’t want to have to carve into this gorgeous guitar.
