My hopes for 2012 and the following years: Being relaxed. Less rumours, less misunderstandings, less fanwars. Not that any of those would concern me enough to make me get worked up over them, but certainly enough to feel like commenting when reading something -well- to phrase it nicely: not so worth to read, like "The Awakening" by Michalee and - what surprise to find two certain names linked to it (Jeslyn Ho and Guixien). Personally I am happy to see that this got only a little over 100 notes within one whole week.

 Year 2009.. SORRY SORRY. Year 2010…BONAMANA…Year 2011…MR.SIMPLE…Year 2012- SEXY FREE and SINGLE.

        For sure, ELFs are still on a high after the massive and epic success of SJ’s 5th album, Mr.SIMPLE…but MR.SIMPLE is so 2011. 6jib.and here we have a new album to fight for and support..SEXY FREE and SINGLE. Sadly, at this early stage, it looks like ELFs have to work HARDER to make the boys HAPPY.

Right here is the first little misunderstanding: "Elf have to work harder to make the boys happy". Are you defining the boys' happiness by the number of album sold (or times voted, clicked, buyed)? You might reconsider. Elf are well organised, and it's nice to see the boys sell a lot, yet: selling a lot is only one way of support and  should not be the definition of happiness, unless you see the boys as money making monkeys on stage. Sure: Money is important, but it's not everything. There don't need to be new records all the time. If they would sell 450.000, that's less than 5jib sold, it would still be good (even less would be fine). Support comes in two forms: setting records and having a stabil fanbase. Later is more important for a band to survive.

MAJOR SETBACK???          Surely, SJ hit an all-kill victory in digital charts as SF&S was released.It was only short-lived however as T-ARA released their new song. Much more, all-kill queens, 2NE1, also achieved ALL-KILL status. Now the question hangs… will ELFs fail SJ in digital charts???

As long as they don't "fail" on both there is no reason to worry. Lol. Also: Why drag other groups into this, there is neary always someone else releasing something in korean industry. Setting one owns standarts should play the bigger part, instead of going around panicing about others.

Where’s the BANG and the BOOM?? (album sales)          I have read from JESLYN HO that 6Jib physical sales aren’t impressive and showed the comparison on sales from 4jib  to 6jib. If u study the graph carefully, the results and figures are ALARMING. 6JIB doesn’t seem strong, unlike we what we are expecting… SOLUTION: purchase only from shops which are counted in HANTEO.

First of all: Jeslyn Ho is not exactly what you call an reliable source. 6jib was not meant to become another 4jib or 5jib running all the way to any award available at any cost. 6jib should rather be seen as a resting stop. 5 jib was supposed to be the last album. Elf did all they could to make sales rise up to Heechul's mentioned 500.000 to make Suju be able to go on well in the future. So 6jib should sell more than 5jib? I don't think so. And actually: this time around the sales seem to be more based on less pressure, which in my eyes is nice to see. And I think it would be good for Suju to know their actual level of sales, with no award/disbandment fear/pressure involved (or at least not to the extend it was before)

FACING the QUEENs..         ELFs, we need to realize we are in a head-to-head collision against one of the toughest groups in Korea-2ne1. Don’t underestimate them. They are so strong and were called ALL-KILL queens. Do not be laid back. Please help in digital sales and rankings.

2ne1...mentioning them like this, you don't try to make them another 'SNSD' right? The ultimate "danger" everyone should fight. lol

TOUGH COMPETITORS are still waiting          Though they live under SME’s one ‘family’ but the truth is..SJ’s toughest rivals are their labelmates themselves!  one of Korea’s most successful girl group eve, SNSD (Girls Generation) aren’t making a comeback  yet. KPOP gods, TVXQ (my fave group too!) are still waiting for their turn, whereas, KPOP QUEEN, BOA is set to have a Korean comeback after SJ.. With all these comebacks, ELFs should not let SJ be left behind!!

SNSD...forever rivals. Did Boa join them? And SMent did this to make the boys disband? OMG! I just knew it. (I am being sarcastic. Just in case someone misunderstands).

KPOP’s KING of ALBUM sales..no more?          SJ was hailed KPOP Kings of Album sales since 2009. But with BIG BANG’s impressive sales (they were hailed KPOP kings of album sales for 1st half of 2012), are we going to let SJ lose their “crown”?

So what if they "lose" to Bigbang? It's not like Bigbang wouldn't deserve this as well. Also: who wants to be the king, when Suju are already going down the path of joining legendary Shinhwa (hoping Bigbang will do as well ^^). Randomly making just anything into a matter I guess?

Crying TEUKIE..oh no, NOT AGAIN!          Did u remember when LEETEUK cried in despair after failing to claim GDA DAESANG in 2010?? do u want that to happen again?? do u want them to be so down and lonely??

Situation 2010 =/= Situation 2012. Why bring up GDA 2010 now? Pretty pointless. Not even to mention that many of Leeteuk's tears are fake. But that's another story. And if I write it like that people will misunderstand. So maybe I should delete that sentence. (Lol many will not click the reblog/like button for this sentence alone I guess, some might even sent me hatemails). And yes, since I don't want to see them down and lonely I hope they get married soon :)

TRIBUTE to KANGIN, YESUNG, HEECHUL, KIBUM, HANGENG and LEETEUK…          Leader and Yeye are going to leave for  the army ..very soon! Kibum and Hangeng are working hard even outside SJ. Heechul is still watching us even he is in army. Kangin endured his 2 years away from us but came back as he promised.. THESE MEN.. do u want to disappoint them??? don’t let them down.. 6JIB must be  huge success!

Pulling the 13/15 member tearjeaker rope. Little correction: Kangin was away for 3 years. Just to let you know. Also it's not sure yet if it's Leeteuk and Yesung. It might be Shindong or Sungmin instead of Yesung. But that's just me and my thoughts. Kibum and Geng's situation has been like that for the last few albums. I don't really see a reason to make Suju sell much just for that. Also Heechul, like any men in korea, serves and will come back, nothing special about that. If Suju would feel being "let down" by Elf because the sales are slightly less, than that would mean only one thing: They would need to become more mature.

FAST FORWARD..          I have read this before.. we had BONAMANA because of SORRY SORRY’s success. We had MR.SIMPLE due to BONAMANA’s  album sales.  what will happen if  SF&S will be a flop?? well, don’t expect for 7jib? that will be so SAD!!!          I also heard that 6jib might be their LAST for now.. (the reason why the packaging is soooo good and the songs are excellent). If we fail them in their “LAST” project, do u think SME will still care to release another album for them?? I highly doubt it! Especially now that rookie groups are being groomed.. SJ must live up to SME’s expectations

Yes. Sorry, sorry is the mother of Bonamana and Mr. Simple. Sexy, Free & Single is more like a cousin, being related but having some other traits. Which is good. Because Sorry, sorry Nr.4 would probably have flopped. So if the sales for 6jib are low? Well personally I hope to see Suju make a transformation as a result, coming back with 7 jib and surprise everyone with a really artsy album. Though the albums are a huge part of Suju's place in the entertainment industry. It's not all they got, they can still go on variety shows with less sales. No?

"Last", stop it already. Last in what meaning? For 2 or 3 years? With KRY or any other subgroup releasing an album? Also rookies are always groomed, because otherwise they wouldn't be able to make it in a market as harsh as the korean entertainment industry. ...Personally I think SMEnt will bother to release another album. If not the boys could go independant with that kind of fansupport (if legally possible). "Sj must live up to SME's expectations"...uhm no: First of all they must live up to make it in the market and to feed themselves. Other than that: No company likes to make losses.

A+++ for the EFFORT         SJ must be given a rating of A++ for their effort to come up with a good album despite busy and hectic schedules. This is for their love for ELFs.. how can we give back the love? Simple. make SEXY FREE and SINGLE an EPIC, MASSIVE and WORLDWIDE success!

 They did put a lot of effort in it. Still no need to twist things and push some Elf into panic again.

 Teukie said that the BIGGEST FANDOM is ELF.. will the ‘BIGGEST FANDOM’ disappoint their KINGS?? will they let their SHINING STARS down?? Only you, ELFs can answer the question.. WAKE UP before it’s TOO LATE.

Kings? Really? To me they are just those boys from years ago, who grew up a lot and still stand on stage. The dorky guys that I want to see get married and have kids and stand on stage even when they are way older. Nothing like idealising them.
