Ironically drawing cute animals entails a lot of reading and spreadsheet filing for me. I love animal trivia, but the deep dives take up so much time. The bright side is interesting trivia, like this lizard species found only in Palawan. The researchers gave it the species name “gulat” because it was “an astonishing find” (Luperosaurus gulat). Gulat in Tagalog is “surprise”.
