Day 2: Jennyanydots!

Okay I did it, I took a crack at her tap dancing costume! I had such a blast with one, especially including some flapper elements! However I do miss her pants.. I’m not sure if this screams “Jenny” enough 🤔 But I do like to imagine an animation of her transformation, like in cartoons where it makes no sense how she had all this on underneath her coat! What do yall think?

The Old Gumbie Cat - from the original Vienna production musical 'CATS', 1984. Fully directed and choreographed by Gillian Lynne.
Original version including the tap dance battle between Jenny and Quaxo. Munkustrap sings both stanzas alone, without Bomba, Deme and Jelly.
Munkustrap is played by (the one and only) Steve Barton, who also was the dance captain of this production. Jenny is played by Valda Aviks, who joined the London company a few years later. Ute Lemper plays Bombalurina.
