Gumbrave Headcannons

Hello! Remember me? I'm the anon who asked for your opinion on how you would think Gumball, Croissant, and Timekeeper would interact. I know you asked me to tag you in my Gumbrave headcanons but I don't have a blog of my own (and I don't plan to), I hope you're ok with me sharing through your blog. Sorry it took me a while to finally submit this, I was afraid I didn't have enough headcanons to share. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!

  -As established, Gumball and the TBD gang get along pretty well, even getting out of their comfort zone to switch color palettes. Gumball occasionally assists Croissant by passing tools such as screws and wrenches while she works and helps out with the overall design. One thing they can both agree on is that Gingerbrave deserves the world and needs to be protected at all costs.

-Canonically in CRK, if you slide with Gingerbrave while playing a stage where you collect coins and a potion, he goes "Kya!" in the softest tone known to man. Gumball thinks this is the cutest thing ever.

-Gingerbrave does most of the teasing, from giggling at how pouty Gumball is when he's stuck watering the plants (to which Brave always takes his place for him) to occasionally pointing out how Gumball is shorter than him (I hc that Gingerbrave is tall for his age). On a scale of 1-10 rating how flustered and annoyed Gumball gets with this, it's a 4.

-Since Gingerbrave is constantly overwhelmed with responsibilities and stress and most likely never had a peaceful childhood, Gumball is kind of his getaway to let himself be a kid.

-Gingerbrave loves dressing up for special occasions. On their first date, Gingerbrave wore a faded blank shirt so Gumball could paint on him as much as he would like.

-Gingerbrave has let Gumball paint on the Angel-In-Us truck on more than one occasion (Angel tolerates this. Might as well commission him to redesign their logo).
