Stanserhorn by Jake Sayer

The hike up the Stanserhorn from the bottom in Stans was quite strenuous but worth it. While it was very busy at the top due to it being a national holiday, walking just a few 100m away from the restaurant gains you some peace and quiet.

Peak trails by Jake Sayer Via Flickr: Snowshoe trails to the top of Gummen. The Roundtrip Snowshoe walk to Gummen from Wirzweli is well worth it when there's plenty of snow. The view from Gummen up the Engelberg valley is quite a treat.
