i hate that if you're suicidal you essentially get threatened to keep quiet and pretend you're okay or they'll send you to something that is basically just jail

i can't tell the truth to the people who "want to help me" i went to a psychiatrist recently and i had to answer a bunch of questions. and i lied because i don't want to get hospitalized

"are you experiencing any suicidal thoughts right now?" yes "not really "

"have you ever attempted?" yes "no"

"do you have a plan for how you would do it?" yes "no"

"do you hurt yourself?" yes "no"

this is stupid. the system isn't meant to help people it's meant to make people shut up and kill themselves quietly without causing a fuss and if they won't do that they get locked up.
