the only people following my dad's senate campaign twitter are me, my mom, my brother, my brother's friend, my other brother, and the campaign web developer
this campaign is such a weird sad hilarious thing
when he talks about running my dad always says "everybody needs a hobby" and i feel about as angry as i have ever been about anything
the electoral process is not your fucking hobby, policy decisions affecting people's lives are nobody's fucking hobby
he basically has 0 shot at winning but the fact that tens of thousands of dollars are getting invested in this sad limping rhetorical exercise (dollars that none of those investors are going to miss) is a lil nauseating to be happening to my literal immediate family
