Painting another gun. This one is probably gonna be a Christmas gift.
As usual, not loving it in progress, but the finishing steps tend to make a big difference.

Painted another gun. Im happy with how this turned out, which is nice, because I was not happy with most of the in progress. But thats just how such things go.
Not the best pic, but its got two coats of Plastidip on it now.
I’m so-so about the Plastidip. It’s pretty easy to work with, fluid enough to brush on well, but viscous enough to stay where I put it, and its got a pretty fast dry time, which is good, though it means I have to work fast.
The main down side is that its not self leveling, so its getting a brush stroke texture I’m not loving. Maybe more coats will improve that? What I am REALLY liking is the way it feels in hand. The rubber texture on the grip feels really good nice to the smooth gloss finish on the metallic parts.
Its amazing the diffrence a little paint will make. Even just not being yellow makes it look cooler, but I’m really liking the black and silver. Its gonna be sexy.
