hello do you know if gunhee and heechul are still friends? i don't see them like i used to

Hey there,

What a coincidence! Gunhee just posted on his Instagram yesterday with Heechul’s dog (Bok) in Heechul’s house. I bet he paid him a visit and they had some fun together. 

I believe they’re still close as they spent the new years together last time. I think it’s just the fact that Gunhee might be working outside Korea that gives them little chances to hang out. However, they seem to maintain their closeness even after not meeting for a while.

The others had wondered where he came from, of course. Heechul returned from his military service unscathed, happy to be back— and dragging another man in his wake, insisting all of them had to meet him. And met him they had, and put him through rigorous interrogation the likes of which would have been appreciated in the military as they tried to discern what his intentions were for their galaxy star. Gunhee understands. He knows Heechul; he would have been the same.

He also knows Heechul can protect himself. He had been there to see Heechul learn to just do that, had seen him learned how to handle himself in a hand-to-hand situation, but as soon as the two of them are settled in, he picks up martial arts in his spare time. Telling himself he will never need it, no one would be foolish enough to come after someone so obviously and vividly in the spotlight, and Leeteuk would kill anyone who came after one of his members immediately.

But each night and especially on a night like this, Gunhee is on guard. The moon hangs full and heavy in the sky, the stars glittering against the velvet blackness of the sky, and they should be safe on the roof, but Gunhee is never not waiting for a threat to show itself.

“You’re too tense,” Heechul informs him, shrugging out of the jacket he’d thrown on before they climbed up here, so much skin bear under the moonlight. “Relax. It’s such a beautiful night.”

For just a moment, Gunhee allows himself to be dazzled. Beneath the moon and the stars, Heechul glows, the almost-golden aura surrounding him unlike anything Gunhee has ever been blessed enough to see. The night has nothing on the man sitting next to him.
