                    she’d never stop worrying, every time andrea left their camp. almost annoyed that she was taking this so lightly, amy lets out a sigh and pinches the bridge of her nose. ❛ there’s gonna be a day when you’re not fine. ❜ a shaky breath leaves her lip as a head dips down and rests on her sister’s shoulders --------- arms wrap around her, holding her tight. terrified to lose her again, always scared that the next time she sees her, she’d be a walker.

               hands worked at the squirrel,  pulling flesh from muscle and skin,  separating edible from  non.   hat on the top of his head   primarily   to keep  outgrown hair out of his eyes,   to keep   focus   on the task at hand.   the animal wouldn’t have been enough for   one   of them,  let alone  two,  and so when he cooks  &   cuts it up,  he gives her   more.  it’s not coming from a gentlemanly place,   moreso he figured he could get away with   eating less.

                                             it cooks     slowly,     jeff continues turning it round and round so it doesn’t   burn.  nighttime was fast approaching,  cool air settling in with it,  and finally he settles back against a tree,  attention turning to his  companion.     ❛    should be ready   soon.    ❜

          there’s   a     OMINOUS     ambience   in   the   concrete   walls   of   the   dark  prison  .            maybe   it’s   the     DAMP    caverns   that   make   it   up  ,        or   it’s   the   dread   that   the   building   had   seen   combatting   the     JOY     that   it’d   seen  .            after   all  ,        his     DAUGHTER     had   been   brought   into   this   world   right   in   those   tombs  .           now   it’s   their   home  .            he’s   up   early   every   morning   because   they   have   things   to   do  .            everyone   had   their   jobs  ,        and   rick’s?            FARMER   IN   TRAINING   .           but   he’s   also   a   friend   before   that  ,        checking   in   on   his   family .            they’ve   got   an   old   family   member   back   with   them  ,        finally   after   a   long   while  .            ANDREA     had    finally   come   home   .            every   morning   rick   finds   himself   at   her   cell  ,        talking   with   whatever   topic   they   could   muster   up   that   morning  .            today   was   talking   about   the   elephant   in   the   room .

                    ‘    he’s   still   out   there  ,    ‘                 it   finally   escapes   his   mouth   after   a   short   while  .            he   breathes   in  ,        looking   up   to   her   blue   hues   before   frowning   slightly  .            he’d   left   scars  ,          some      RESIDUAL     and   some      PERMANENT     on   all   of   them  .            the   fear   of   his   return   had   petrified   them   all  ,        no  matter   how     READY      they   were   for   it  .               ‘    was   thinking   about   taking   the   hyundai  out   sometime   this   week   for   supplies  .            might   look   around   a   bit   for     HIM     .  .  .    ‘            his   voice   says  ,       falling   silent   after   a   short   bit   .
