WIP Post 5 - Chest Unit I always knew that things should get easier when the build gets past the feet. Should. Boy, am I wrong on this one! The joints of the arm frame here are solid AF...almost too solid, actually. It almost becomes too rigid for me to play with, but as further handling proves, it's just solid. WIP Post 4 - Waist One does not underestimate the RG Unicorn. This is one complicated waist unit! Almost snapped off a part of it, actually. ALMOST. This is one kit where you ABSOLUTELY need to follow the manual. Maybe not the order, but the assembly can't be done freestyle, for sure. WIP Post 1 - Weaponry Yep, not exactly the whole extras package this time. The beam saber handles go to the backpack directly, which I'm yet to build. There are also no movable hands/manipulators this time around. What's there, however, is very exciting. First, as I said in the unboxing uploads, the beam saber effect parts are correct for the scale! I can't stress how big of a deal that is for me! I can finally have some fun with my kits holding beam sabers! Second, so much engineering goes into both the rifle and the bazooka. The removable cartridges are a big bonus, but the focus should be on how the weapons are handled this time around. Most RGs have pegs on the weapons, to be slotted in either the movable manipulators or fixed, weapon holding hands. This one, however, has slots, not pegs...and they're open for either the left or right hand. Ambidextrous RGs? Yes, please! I won't be unveiling the Destroy Mode shield in my WIP posts for now. What I can say is that even the shield's engineering is VERY meticulous! So far, I feel that "Gunpla Evolution Project" is not just a marketing ploy. It's real, and the first 30 or so pieces of the build confirm it. I'm excited! #RG #Gunpla #Gundam #UnicornGundam #GunplaEvolutionProject
