Throughout my life, I’ve held onto about 6 guns in my life (three of them, I had been trained to know HOW they’re meant to be held & handled) #gunsafetyfirst Lately I’ve had the desire to hold onto more and more importantly learn and have practice adequately shooting them, it’s been a new fun desire of mine. And soon I sure hope to own one of my very own. With gaining the knowledge and understanding about our Constitution (remember that it is a LIVING document) I feel so GRATEFUL for our founding fathers who KNEW what our needs would be. And all throughout history, WE THE PEOPLE have been fighting for our rights, for our LIVING document to LIVE ON. Why in hell•ish days would we give it up now?? Not now, not EVER. This sketchbook project came about when I asked myself, what would Mother Mago, Virgin Mary or namas Guanyin Bodhisattva do in times like this? I consider myself old, in that I can remember a time when mass shootings were not a daily occurrence.There are children growing up now who have never known any other world. It’s a madness that has to stop, and regulating guns is one part of the solution.
