The unfathomable tragedy that happened yesterday at Michigan State University has left us utterly heartbroken and horrified. Violence like this should not still be happening in the US. Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of those who have passed, and everyone who has been affected by this devastating act of violence. We are with you, we stand with you and we will fight to end gun violence with you.

In the span of one week, I’ve needed to reach out to multiple friends to make sure they were safe due to multiple shootings.

I’m tired. I’m scared. I’m disgusted. I’m so fucking angry.

(Disclaimer: I’m not trying to diminish what other people are going through. And I’m not trying to make this about me.) I just want to point out that we are all victims of gun violence. Even if we weren’t there. And we all deserve change.
