The living hinge (for flexible filaments) allows it to be printed larger. The print-in-place hinge version (for rigid plastic filaments) relied on particular layer heights, meaning that resizing the model would result in fails. This is problematic because I modeled these off my hands, and I have little hands, thus making resizing almost always necessary. But this problem may now be solved. See, I already had a decent 3D printed robo hand. Maybe this version can become yours.

Surprise gunslinger prop update!

This cuff has print in place hinges that increase the likelihood it will fit a user's wrist without needing resized. There are channels for a 1" thick elastic to be sewn in.
