3) What’s your favourite soundtrack?
Oh god this is a hard one, I have went through my itunes a couple of times but I think I need to settle on two tbh. Mainly cause I wanted to choose one that was a bit more relaxing, and one more exciting track. (*ﾉωﾉ)
For the calmer one I have to say The Veil of the Night from Curious village. I remember this was one of my favorite soundtracks when I first played through the game, and it just really left a deep impression. ; A ; Whenever I feel stressed out I know I can count on this one to calm me down haha.
Secondly it has to be Descole’s theme from Spectre’s Call. There are a ton of epic music pieces from the soundtracks, but this one just simply stands out to me so much. I’m also a big fan of the soundtrack for the Mobile Fortress for well, maybe obvious reasons or not. There has been a few people in my life that has complained to me when I’ve listened to it that it’s just repetitive and in general not a good soundtrack, but I…..can’t help to love it? I DON’T KNOW I REALLY LIKED IT
Also bonus round since Layton himself has so many themes. (How many anthems can one man have, seriously.) On this one I have to say it was the one from the Premium CD, BUT I am also a big fan of this one from the Eternal Diva. It gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it haha. ; ^ ;
11) Do you have a favourite quote? If yes, what is it?
I…..don’t have a specific quote that I enjoy more than other, not what I can recall. However there are conversations that I have enjoyed a lot. Clive’s lil speech to Layton at the end about him saving him is one I adore a lot, but other than that I love all the silly things. Like the constant complaints about Layton’s car.

17) Do you have any headcanons? If yes, what?

My headcanons are too many and they leave me crying on the floor every night. cliveboyblue can confirm this. I…..think most of them are about the character’s themselves, rather than actual storywise things.
I think the only storyrelated piece of headcanon I have is that Clive would be released from prison under the circumstances that he has a guardian, and Layton is the only suitable one for the job. It would be quite awkward though cause Clive would spend several months just laying in bed being depressed, and only spoke to Layton when he needed a ride to see his therapist.
It may very much be based on my fangirling for otp, but I guess it could also work out as a friendship kind of thing. I just want Clive to eventually become better, but I think he’s aware that it’s nothing he can do by himself.
23) Has the series had an impact on your life?
Gosh, it certainly has haha. In many aspects.
I think what had the biggest impact on me was the general style of the games? Before I was into Layton I was pretty much only into animeish kind of artwork and designs, I was heavily influenced by CLAMP for example. That itself is not a bad thing, however it is a bad thing if you…..neglect things simply cause the style was not of your usual preference? Of course someone can be turned off by a style completely, but after my Layton experience I kind of always want to give something a chance haha.
idk if this sounds tacky but the impact they had on me was that they made me want to see other things, explore other things. Things I had before neglected cause it was not in my comfort zone suddenly felt so interesting to me. I started to get more into studying colour and design, it was just such a huge inspirational kick for me. (Not to mention it made me weak for accordions)
And except Yume Nikki these were the first games that made me think about them as soon as I had to turn it off. I made little theories about what might be going on, who might be the culprit etc, and it was just so new to me that a game left me with that feeling.

34) Do you want more games or do you think the series has run its course and is fine as it is?
Well since someone got me into playing Dragon age I started to procrastinate even more with starting to play PL VS AA I can’t…..say completely.
However given the more recent game all has been prequels it would….maybe be nice with a sequel considering the end of Unwound Future feels a bit unfinished? But on the other hand sometimes that is for the better, so I really can’t say. I’ve liked what I have gotten over the years, and I guess I would enjoy what might come, but I actually have to say I am satisfied? At least for now….?
