I should make Ulfric fatter
Not sure if people still follow this blog but a lot has changed since I last uploaded here… I quit being an animator and pretty much stopped drawing entirely due to severe burn out.
I want to get back in to art… Though just for fun, career wise I decided to go back to university to learn to be a nurse!
I guess my question is to anyone still interested, would posting sketches only be worth it? I usually like to keep to finished stuff but I don’t think I can manage that for now…

All righty, I watched Equestria Girls: Dance Magic (spoilers under the cut)
IT. WAS. SO. AWESOME!
Ah, man, I can’t even—what can I say?
For one thing, this totally has potential to be a series! I mean, holy hell there is so much material they can go over in this series!
G.M. Berrow was just fantastic in the writing. I think they tapped into a lot of stuff, and I dunno know about you, but I want to see more interaction between the Crystal Preppies (I’m calling them that because it’s the only way I remember them, ha) and the Rainbooms.
Speaking of Crystal Prep, it was neat to see them again, and seeing that they still had a lot to learn about themselves (although who saw the “going to steal your concept and use it as ours” trope coming? I did).
Anyways, what really blew me away was Rarity. Oh, my, GOSH.
If anything, they showed a little more of her insecurity, her determination, and her drama that we’re all used to seeing in Pony FIM.
And it was funny when she and Twilight (FYI, I love Twilight’s outfit!) “sneak” into Crystal Prep. Hee-hee, and that Twi only knew where the library was, ha.
And the music video.

It rocked! I loved the outfits, I loved the choreography, and, ah, I just loved the whole damn thing, man!
I think I ship Sour Sweet and Rarity now. Wonder what the ship name for that will be?
My only thing was I wish we’d seen what the other girls were up to as Rarity was off-screen. Maybe trying to figure out their dancing or saying “hey, maybe Rarity is feeling under stressed, we should help her out”, stuf like that.
And there wasn’t any Sunsetsparkle interaction. Maybe in the next one?
But I did like their outfits. I wouldn’t mind seeing fanart of them dancing together in those outfits if you know what I mean

What are your favourite uses of werewolves as analogies?
I'd say, right now the main one for me is werewolves as an analogy for period/menstrual cycle (yeah, it's weird one ik) Mostly because I often work with male characters and lycantropy is a good way to kinda project that into them(? If You think about it enough, it makes sense (also thanks ginger snaps for that)
I also like is as a bridge for nature connection in a crude way(? Dehumanization but not as degradation or becoming something "lesser" or "evil". More like "You know, being human kinda sucks ass actually. Being a beast is not correct in human standards, but it feels more real"
My multishipper ass enjoys literally anything that involves Tullius or Ulfric. either together or sepparately: -Tullfric (Do I even need to explain why they are shipeable, pls) -Elenwen x Tullius (possesive fem dom? yummy) -Elenwen x Ulfric (kind of a dark one in my head, since wasn't she the one that tortured Ulfric? but yk what, meow) -Tullius x Rikke (one word, pegging) - Ulfric x Galmar (OUF THIS ONE is a big one for me but that's also because I very much love Galmar too. Also,,, like,,, c'mon this is the purest bottom Ulfric ship) - Ulfric x Ralof (do not bring the age gap as a counter for them because its basically the same age gap that Tullius and Ulfric have djfhb. the fics carried this one for me tbh, the power dynamic is -chef kiss-) these are the ones that come to my mind, appart from oc ships but I don't think those are interesting for anyone appart from me djfhvb
