Funny how people needed to argue. The whole secret was not to listen to what the other person was saying, Masklin had noticed. Gurder and Angalo had really got the hang of -that-. The trouble was that neither of them was entirely certain he was right, and the funny thing was that people who weren't -entirely- certain they were right always argued much louder than other people, as if the main person they were trying to convince was themselves.
