I was trying to look up someone I follow, who is an influencer, and discovered a site called Gurugossip...

....

Why is everyone in there so bitter? Why is everyone nitpicking on everything? Where are they pulling that information off, their asses??

I even looked up other people, but it’s mostly the same thing! Jesus, where do you get all that emotional energy (that you proceed to waste on hating and nitpicking)??

I don’t know about you guys, but if I dislike someone, I forget about them. I’m talking about people on the internet, especifically, where this act of forgeting/ignoring can be quite destructive. I may look up somethings about them first, but then move on.

Being forgotten is a big fear for many people, so I just do exacly that. This is why I don’t hate-watch, because the few times I did that, I just left feeling drained. 

But no, these people watch and read things the people they don’t like do, at 2x speed, and then just rant about it for 10 pages. I’m honestly baffled.

Ok, I wrote this just to ask the questions on the second paragraph, so now I’m just going to step 2 ‘’Forget it forever’’ that I just talked about.

Please don’t be like the people on that website.

There's a whole lot of internalized misogyny on gurugossip like that site is a cesspool. Someone really said with their whole chest that zoella hasnt done anything productive with her life. Lmao wat? I'm not even a zoella stan but like a woman who has built an entire empire just from YouTube hasnt done anything productive? They constantly project onto these people they dont even know like the type of theories these people come up with just from watching a 30 min video. And that's another thing they hate watch these youtubers!! Why would you watch someone you hate?? For what??? These ppl are truly miserable
