From the moment Gus Ryder and Teddy Andersen interacted in Done and Dusted, I wanted—scratch that, needed—to see them get together. So, for that reason, this third novel has been my most anticipated one yet, which means I maybe (definitely) had very high expectations. Thus, it brings me immense joy to concede that it not only meets those mile-long expectations but surpasses them in a way I never thought possible.
There’s a resounding measure of love sprinkled into every page of this book, so much so that I kept wondering if there was something more significant behind the story crafted and what could possibly be a love letter that comes from a place of personal experience. The latter proves to be true, so if you’re not someone who reads author notes or acknowledgments, it’s essential to make an exception for this one. Lost and Lassoed by Lyla Sage is a story to hold onto and cherish. It’s sincere, it’s heartwarming, and it’s a love letter that emphasizes what it means to support people.
