Vrijdag 10 juni van 19:30 – 21:00 houden stripmakers Gustavo Garcia en Sutu presentaties over hun werk.

Sutu zal vooral ingaan op zijn interactieve comics "Nawlz" en "Modern Polaxis" (beide op de tentoonstelling "Motion Comics: The Beginnings" te zien). Garcia vertelt over het maakproces van de motion comic "Ascent From Akeron".

Gustavo Garcia De in Barcelona geboren Gustavo Garcia woont al sinds zijn vroege jeugd in Nederland. Hij is gespecialiseerd in het maken van storyboards voor reclame en film. In 2012 kwam zijn stripdebuut 'Gagarin' uit, een verhaal over de Russische kosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, de eerste man in de ruimte. Het verhaal werd geschreven door Rob van Scheers. Garcia illustreert ook Submarine Channels motion comic project Akeron dat geschreven is door regisseur en visual effects veteraan William Maher ("X-Men", "X-Men2", "Mars Attacks!").

Sutu @sutueatsflies (Stu Campbell) is een pionier op het gebied van motion comics. Naast de hierboven genoemde baanbrekende projecten maakte hij recent het ontroerende interactieve stripverhaal "These Memories Won't Last".

De tentoonstelling is voor deze gelegenheid tot 21 uur te bezoeken. De presentaties zijn voor alle bezoekers toegankelijk, dus niet alleen voor de deelnemers van de workshop die Sutu geeft.

Entreeprijs voor de expo is 2 euro.
