Conversation stuttered and stalled in the lobby of Sanctus Clinic as Aurelius swept past the reception towards the stairs, aiming to ascend towards his office. (Elevators, to him, were a stupid concept when all you did was ride in a metal box up and down.)

He picked up signs of faint distress in his receptionist's tone before turning to see an elegantly dressed gentleman quietly standing before the front desk. The cut of his clothes is somewhat familiar...

"Pardon me," the angel redirected his steps with a face full of smiles, even as his employee brightened in relief with a hasty, "Mr. Vane-Tempest!"

"It seems you have a question for our clinic."

"Is there any way I can help?"

A treasure hunt involving pixies could only go one of two ways; efficient and quick or incredibly slow and troublesome. Though Eula is hoping for the former, she's almost certain it'll be a mix of the latter. Still, having some help ought to be nice, so long as her partner doesn't hold her back. She tucks her teacup pig under her arm before sparing a glance at her partner. He doesn't look very enthused, but neither does she, all things considered. "Let's make this quick, shall we? It shouldn't take long if we're just supposed to be following the pig's directions."

The forest looks foggy, undoubtedly the work of their pixie friends to cause extra confusion, but it's nothing she can't handle.

"Try not to get on their bad side, yeah? They have a bad habit of turning people they don't like into...things." He's had that happen to him before. "They turned me into a frog at one point." The pixies don't seem to dislike him anymore though! They're messing with his hair and greeting him.

He must have given them a piece offering of some sort.

Is it acceptable to make an appointment for someone who needs it but won't initially go?

Thank you for considering Sanctus Clinic for your needs.

It is common to know family, friends, or other loved ones who may benefit from therapy but refuses to sign up for an appointment themselves. In extreme cases the clinic can work together with the subject's loved ones to stage an emergency intervention if needed. However, we recommend you talk to the person personally, as much of the recovery process requires the subject's open mind and willing heart.

Accepting that one has a problem is already taking the first step to recovery. Having the subject themselves admit to the issue and sign up themselves is a positive step towards empowerment that helps one to take control of their own life. You may consult this webpage for more tips regarding the referral process, including a pre-prepared speech to introduce the idea of a therapist to the subject.

As an alternative, you could consider making a reservation for one of our couple or group therapy sessions and accompany the subject to a low-stress, no obligation meeting with one of our experts to familiarize them with the process. We also hold many activities open to the public, such as next week's Art Therapy Day, that can serve as an introduction to a more formal counselling session.
