My dear friend Der-shing Helmer drew this for me after we had a friendship-destroying argument about carrot cake. My point is that vegetables should not be in cakes and I'm PRETTY SURE Guuzy would agree with me, so this is drawing, CUTE AND WONDERFUL THOUGH IT MIGHT BE, is NOT CANON.

I've been working on this on and off the past few weeks because I ate this webcomic. Its called Monster Pulse and its so flipping cute, and poignant, and funny and sad, and heartwarming, and sometimes a bit disturbing on an implied level (I mean its about monsters that are made from your body parts...so XD). But really. Highly recommended. Definitely in my top 3.

Mostly because of this dork. I connected way too emotionally with this dork. My anxiety mainly affects my already sensitive stomach so when I start to get overwhelmed or worse it can feel like a monster with a mind of its own sometimes. (semi-spoilers ahead) there's a scene where West runs away from a friends house because he realizes they were going to eat dinner and he can't eat with them (side effect of having your stomach outside of your body as a secret monster), and goes off to cry and the whole time I'm crying because that's me. My anxiety is mostly social and since it make me nauseous being around food triggers it so eating with people is often a struggle for me, to the point that I've had to cancel plans with friends, cut things short during fun times, or just not go do things because I know eating with them is involved. 

tl;dr West is precious and if anything happens to him or Guuzy (especially since with what part of the body Guuzy is anything happen to him would be critical to West) I WILL REVOLT.

I felt tired when I got home and figured I'd skip papercrafting for tonight, but then I felt bad and made Guuzy from Monster Pulse instead.

He's pretty cute.
