@stellaralchemist and @wethatkindoforc have been running high-adventure, episodic treasure hunts for the Fantastic Enterprises guild for some time now, and have put an amazing amount of work into delivering that content. It’s been a joy to be a part of it, and to watch the characters involved in the missions grow together as a team.

This weekend was the final treasure hunt, where the crew of the Starchaser search for--and found--the legendary treasure belonging to the storybook-famous corsair Captain, Mulligan Mulholland.

As a starborn aurin, Alder grew up on the tales of Mulligan and his crew. Meeting the ghost of Mulligan was a fantasy come true for him. It was an emotional final chapter for the arc, made even more emotional by WildStar’s shutdown looming, inevitable, in the back of our minds.

Starry-eyed, Alder asked Mulligan to autograph his space suit. Mulligan did, and left a special note for him, as well. It was a touching moment that I felt the need to commemorate in art.
