JACK PALANCE in his feature film debut.
I love Jack Palace, he's sublime in everything. His sharp cheekbones and velvet voice. He's always perfect for the villain or the dark brooding hero.
Richard Widmark, another good clever actor, one of my only frames of reference to him is "To The Devil a Daughter". I'm sure I've seen other movies with him, but I was too young a kid to notice.
Ironically it's about a stow away guy who's carrying pneumonic plague and spreading it and gets killed in a card game for cheating.
And it's made 72 years ago and even some of the characters in the movie don't want to take their inoculations. LMAO. Humans never change.
