First of all, the wiki states Guzma is around his twenties to early thirties. He could be anywhere between 20-34. I’ve always thought he’s in his thirties because of how long it would take for team skull to build up a proper reputation around Alola, and for him to build his reputation. Plus, he’s supposedly the same age as Kukui, who is a Pokemon professor and married. They are both shown to be more mature people in the games, manga and anime, which is why I assume they’re around 33-35.

Second of all. Nanu is likely not that old. Grey hair literally means nothing in anime. Burnet’s hair is fully white and she’s Kukui’s age. Sure, he looks weathered, but that’s likely from stress as a police officer and Kahuna. He’s 55 at most. And people can start greying at as young as 20. The wiki even states his age is unknown. He likely isn’t as old as Hala, but probably older than Olivia.

Finally getting to typing out more of What the Cat Dragged in ch 28:

Edit: typed the last three pages (not two). So now I’ll want to edit it up. It’s likely to be a bit longer of a chapter but I can’t promise a fully finished chapter. Might be like 90% or so.

So I got a process of doing drafts and it kinda goes like this:

This is the very first kind of outline I tend to write. Quick, and basically lets me know what I plan on having happen. Ch 28 starts like this (I put new chapter when I’m not certain what number it is).

Next, I will either type up or write out a longer draft, with or without dialogue (sometimes summarizing at this point). For this fic in particular, I like to write out the chapter drafts more fully when I am up for it. Below, I am not quite finished with the scene, and it will likely be another half page or more to get to the line at the bottom of the page above. Scribbled out bits will vary. Sometimes it doesn’t always sound quite right but it gives me a better idea of where I want to go with the chapter.

Edit: a 3/4 page became 9 pages so it looks like one chapter has become two, depending on edits.

Ok, so after vanishing another few months, I finally feel up to doing some more typing of drafts at this point in time. I anticipate there being at least one if not two chapter drafts going up this upcoming weekend.

I’m still determined to get all the drafts of this fic up for it to be a complete story, and then it will prob take even more time to edit each unedited chapter so the story is actually a fully complete story and not outlines or half to 3/4 plus drafts.

In case anyone wonders, I’m on page 116 of my outline, and the outline goes up to 146, with the epilogue being a few separate pages after that 146. So I’m. Really close to the end of the fic but still have a bit to go. One smaller conflict and one major conflict left to resolve, then the fallout from those conflicts.
