I realised some days ago that I forgot to share the brainchild of my social media break.
It was a real pain in the ass to paint and you don’t even wanna know how many hours I spent on it but it was all worth it in the end.
Ladies, gents and others, the one and only Gilles Villeneuve lego replica helmet.
I thought a lot about which version to do, it was originally going to be the ‘82 design (so the last), but I changed it a little because 1. I wanted to leave the little horns alone 2. The white stripes that indicate the sponsors are surprisingly really difficult to paint so it’s not the most accurate but I still love it🙏🥹

I’m actually surprised how locked in I remained while making this. I think the withdrawal symptoms really kicked in at one point and I just needed to do something with my hands and brain so bad it was actually a relief to be able to focus on something so intensely.
Don’t get addicted to your phones, kids, but if you do, make sure to take a break so you can make shit like this.
