Anyway them! A silly doodle of GvA swap au characters TDA (Ann) and TOO (Odd) in the rain.

I legit gotta draw them more, although I might end up drawing TDA more because I love her design even though hair is hell to draw

Bio // The Odd One

Experiment turned hero. His skin was infused with some sort of awakened energy when he was being developed by Yang, gifting him excellent strength at the cost of never being able to surpass it. Most of his abilities were faulty attempts by Yang at trying to make a stickfigure "human." Sight? Hearing? Breathing? With what face? The code manifested in... other ways.

Odd's attire came directly from his 5 year containment after the events of AvA 2. The bands on his wrists and ankles held him in place, while his cape originally wrapped around his face so that his eyes wouldn't burn off his restraints. But by his escape in AvA 3, Odd's rage turned what once kept him down into newfound conduits for power.

Despite the containment, despite the torture...Odd quickly became one of the greatest heroes in Portbottom alongside The Dark Animations. But unlike Chosen, who had gained a mutual respect for Alan by then, Odd still struggles to confront or even gaze at Yang in the PC in Season 2. And by Season 3, his past will make him question whether he's truly the hero the public sees him as.

Eh. He'll be fine.

P.S. How's the new format for the refs? I'm still finding a rhythm, but this simplified version should make it easier to focus on the characters instead of spending 50% of the time on the background, lol.

Bio // The Dormant One

The Dormant One, or "Dormant" is a member of the Hue Crew that replaces The Second Coming from the original series. They are based on a satire AvA fan OC, “The Deceased One,” made by Skim, AvG's main editor.

Dormant was discovered by the other members of the Hue Crew shortly after gaining sentience. Promptly exploring Yang’s computer, albeit with moderate caution towards their safety, they ended up on the Sticksforge website and making their first friends. Yang initially created Dormant for a coding practice project he did for fun, and they were created on quite the old flash drive… Hopefully that doesn’t impact them too harshly.

They tend to approach situations with an outwardly blunt, deadpan attitude, not to mention being incredibly laid back, but this doesn’t mean they are any less passionate about their craft. They love coding, not to mention their intense passion for music, and are a very curious person. They are an incredibly big fan of expressing themself through creative works, and love making other people laugh with their witty sense of humor. They often use their coding skills to help Yang in his game development projects, the two working as a great team both in coding and combat.

Dormant wields the Unity-Wrench, a custom tool forged with guidance from the Hue Crew. Built using melted-down Unity tools and materials across the desktop, the wrench can modify the properties of objects by simply hitting them or through its nodes: These orbs are easily imbued with different “status effects” that can be thrown or launched from the wrench's jaw in combat. The ability was actually inspired by Skim’s “SELECT A MAGIC ITEM” polls on the AvG server that assigned stats and magical properties to ordinary objects. When they're spending time with Abex, Dormant is also able to bring his drawings to life with the wrench.

Dormant has sudden sleeping spells and is often incredibly drowsy. Abex could swear that he’s seen them sleepwalking.
