SPIDER SENSES TINGLING...

    🕷 ⊰ something’s peculiar about his professor, but he doesn’t question it. there are many things he should be concerned about and she shouldn’t be one of them. although she is young, and her occupation is improbable if her timeline had proceeded the expected way-- it’s still plausible. a slim chance, but viable. like he initially thought, there are other things to be concerned about. like seoul. like how he’s going to seize the next criminal-- like how he’s going to survive tonight.

but there’s nothing wrong with living in the moment, he supposes.

“a-ah, do you have some time? i mean, like, there-- there are just a few things i’m curious about, so i could use a little direction, you know?” he nods as he’s adjusting his backpack’s strap to firmly rest on his shoulder. although this moment’s fairly rare, a little insight from an intellect couldn’t hurt. “it’s not like, about chemistry or anything, it’s actually for a different class, but-- but yeah. a little help, you know, would be cool.”

☆ ┇ “We met a couple months ago. Not all too long ago to be frank. His name is Jaebum. We met when I visited Hawaii last year during the autumn. It felt kind of awkward to talk to a stranger while in a airplane but after a while the awkward-ness disappeard and we got along rather well and we still do. However we havent met as much these days but I do hope we will meet up more soon when things starts to become less hectic. Another close friend of mine is Eunyeon. I met her a few years after I had moved here to Seoul from New York. She is one of the first friends that I got here and Im glad we still are. We’re a lot closer these days than how we were before and it means a lot to me. We have been through a lot as friends and I do hope there will be more good memories created in the future.”

“why aren’t you eating?"

The two had been walking around, just enjoying the scenery but when the other spoke he stopped dead in his tracks, was it that obvious he wasn’t eating? It wasn’t really his own choice, mainly just he didn’t have the money. His job wasn’t paying him like they were supposed to and he could really only afford to pay his bills. He had been thinning out, his cheeks slowly went from chubby to slim in a months time. 

He was eating, but not like he should. Once a day, maybe a snack here and there when he could, but not enough. He swallowed hard at her question. He wasn’t one to share his problems with people, he dealt with them on his own. “I am eating.” It wasn’t a lie, he was. But it was still a lie to how she meant her words. It could be seen in just the way his body had changed. Daniel loved food, he used to eat so much of it that he had a cute chubby stomach, but as of late he was thin, weak, and his energy was running on low. It was only a matter of time before someone figured out he wasn’t eating properly.
