Short summary/description: Captain Lars concludes his conversation with the medical doctor/librarian named Doctor Oldham and hopes to leave Gargantia. However, he chooses to stay in order to help mediate a dispute between a mechanic and a pirate queen. Trials and tribulations remain for him and his crew and those across the stars whether on the now-peaceful planet of Etheria, the desolate Las Vistas wasteland, or the curvature of space-time itself. Friendships and relationships will be tested, people will be killed or hurt. Some will open themselves up to new possibilities, while others will close themselves off. Tensions are high. The problems of those across the stars are interlinked because the universe moves through them like a rushing river, raging their minds and hearts until it reaches its conclusion.
Snippet:
Lukkage awoke with a start. Attempting to move her hands, she realized they were shackled to a cold metal chair. She growled. What have I done wrong? Why would they do this to me? They are going to pay big time! she thought to herself. Of course, her naivete and arrogance ignored the fact that she had tried to destroy the whole of Gargantia because Pinion broke up with her, an act of pettiness taken to the utmost extreme. Sensing chains wrapped round her arms, she struggled to remove them. This attempt failed. She screeched into the dark, hoping she could lure in someone to help her. No one came to her aid. Instead, an electric light suddenly flickered on, illuminating her face, pale skin, magenta-colored hair while another revealed a person standing a few feet away. A voice thundered across the room.
On August 3, 2019, an armed white supremacist drove for nearly 10 hours to a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, where he killed 23 people and injured dozens more. The FBI classified this attack on the Latino community as a hate crime and an act of domestic terrorism.
Five years later, communities across the country continue to experience these tragedies. In 2024, there have been more mass shootings than days of the year so far. Our hearts are with the entire community and everyone impacted by gun violence.
Gun violence prevention is on the ballot this November, and our vote is our voice. Register to vote today at weall.vote/register. 🙏🏽
Revisited: Classic GVP & Amiga Hardware - Robert Miranda
"We, Robert Miranda & Pete Keretz, were in the trenches of Great Valley Products’ Technical Support from ~1989-1994 (combined). We were regular maintainers of the GVP BBS, and we frequented the online FidoNet discussion groups for the Commodore Amiga and GVP Tech Support. We tested many 3rd party hardware and software offerings as part of our day job. That fed our growing passion for computer technology. Stop by to see some of our collection of Amiga expansion gear, and feel free to engage us in the technical memories from the classic Amiga era."

Roiland: Well, what do you want me to do, Bobby? B-o-b-b-i, right?
Buscarino: Just get in the car!
Roiland: And then what? My dad’s sick, you say?
Buscarino: Mm-hmm.
Roiland: He’s in the hospital?
Buscarino: Mm.
Roiland: Do you need help finding your pet?
