When I really got into gw2blr, there was so much interaction, original content, and just people talking to each other, goofing off and having fun!
I played on a shitty laptop then and literally posted best performance screenshots but unfunny cringe captions, but I still got so much fun interactions, not just flat reblogs, no, people added funny tags, sent me asks, started reblog chains, jumped on the silly little bandwagons, like the text post meme thing, the GW2 hunger games and the dreamcember thing. (Dreamcember was me! I made one, ONE short text post of "hey we had nornvember how about dreamcember for Sylvari?" And people were like "ok bet" and just... Used the tag?)
It was so cool and wholesome, and this positive feedback loop not only created really good content, but also forged communities and meaningful friendships!
I think we can go back to that energy.
It starts with you. Leave a nice comment on someone else's post. It takes a few seconds and can make somebody's day.
Why do you think I'm doing all this?
Hey gw2blr! Any of you have Discord servers that's open to the public and looking for more members? I'd like to make a list on my pinned post and make it a convenient spot for folks looking to join specific servers.
Comment/reblog this post with your non-expiring discord server invite link and a brief summary of what the server offers (e.g., art, rps, chill hangout, lore focused, fractal/raid training, ect) and I'll add it to my pinned post!
And as always, thank you all for sharing your amazing passion for this mmo and the gw2blr community!💞

Send an ask with any one of my gw2 oc's and a specific point in the story. and i'll write something that goes there.
I did not expect my last poll to take off like it did. So for fun, let's do a companion one, GW2blr!

" Fractals of the Mist Quickplay (Beta)
Alongside this event, we're adding a permanent new option for playing Fractals of the Mists missions. Quickplay mode is accessed through the Looking for Group panel and will automatically pair you with like-minded adventurers to play a random fractal. The quickplay LFG tool can be used whether you're solo, in a partial group looking for additional allies, or already partied with friends and looking for adventure. Quickplay fractals are always scale 1 and selected from a curated list:
Aetherblade
Cliffside
Deepstone
Kinfall
Molten Boss
Molten Furnace
Snowblind
Uncategorized
Urban Battleground
Volcanic
To help guide your group to success, the Mist Stranger will also pitch in to assist you throughout the fractal.
If you are defeated, the Mist Stranger will revive you after a short delay.
Special pocket waypoints have been distributed within the fractals, allowing you to teleport to the furthest waypoint your group has reached and catch up if you fall behind.
In some multi-hero challenges, the Mist Stranger will lend a hand to flip levers or stand on pressure plates.
Adventurers will be shielded from the debilitating Cultist Hammer Corruption in the Cliffside fractal and provided with extra hammers for the group.
Adventurers will resist the brutal cold in the Kinfall fractal even if they use up their life-fire, and they can expend life-fire to unlock doors even after their flame has run low.
Some fractal challenges have also been adjusted at tier 1. "
