And I also like to think all the other lyrics with "Heavy", "Dragging", "Buried", and "Slack and Receding" is talking about the death and mourning of Gwenna, but hell the entire song is probably about that lmao

"All that remains is long dead and gone" For this one I like to think that it talks about both Farryn and Gwenna, and how they've been corrupted; whatever is left haunting the forest is not them anymore, their humanity has been dead and gone for a long time. I mean Farryn is a giant rotting eldritch monster stag-centaur thing, and Gwenna is...yeah, she's something else that's for sure.
