Where: Water gardens, after the fight
Who: open to everyone!
Gwin sat by the water as she tended to her superficial wounds she earned while pummeling Lord Qoherys. A bruise there, a scratch there. She had no trust in the non-ironborn maesters that were present at the wedding.
She dipped her rag into the fountain instead of finding a wash basin like someone civilized would. Then she went to clean off the gash Rhogar got on her.
After cleaning herself, Gwin spotted someone. The creep was probably watching her bathe she thought. She watched them back for a moment, before approaching silently when their back was turned.
"I do not enjoy when people watch" She whispered into their ear before backing. "If you're not careful you may find yourself in the water instead"
( Jessica Alexander, cis woman, she/her ) HARK! I believe the heralds are announcing the arrival of GWIN HARLAW, the 30 year old, LADY HARLAW of HARLAW/TEN TOWERS. They are known to hold loyalty towards THE CROWN/ASHEN PROMISE and little birds sing of them being CLEVER & HARMONIZING. When one dreams of them, images of secret travels through the fog, masks of smiles over faces of anger, and the siren song of danger luring a ship to wreck comes to mind. However their DANGEROUS and CRUEL nature can make for difficult times. Time will only tell what their true intentions are. { Fish, 23, she/her, est, none }
BASICS
full name: Gwin Harlaw titles:Lady Gwin of Harlaw code name: Basilisk gender: ciswoman pronouns: she/her orientation: ambiguous religion: drowned god birthplace: Harlaw
PERSONALITY
personality: Gwin is unremarkable on the outside of her appearance. Not too beautiful but not too ugly either. She can blend in almost anywhere. Inside she possesses a reckless streak. persona: Deceptively graceful Strengths: Clever, harmonizing, charismatic Flaws: Dangerous, cruel, vain reputation: Not much of one. Perfect for a spy such as herself
Gwin was a quiet child despite being the oldest. She would prefer to quietly write messages or soak in the sea. Being the heir of Harlaw came with the expectations of marriage and heirs, so she seemingly followed as she was told and planned to marry the lord of her house's choosing. Told does not mean followed, though, and her betrothed mysteriously drowned en route to Harlaw.
Her exploits to plunder beyond Westeros brought her much gold and many places. Whenever her House tried to secure a trade route, Gwin was sure to intercept. As she approached her late twenties she slowed with her piracy, but not her cruelty.
Gwin had learned about the Ashen Promise through her twin brother. While very loyal to her family, she had learned to trust her friend more after years of battle. Outwardly, she follows the Harlaw's wishes and not telling the crown of their alliance. Inwardly she knows its only a matter of time before she exposes the secret.
HEAD-CANNONS:
Despite all this Gwin does secretly wish to someday have children though she would never admit it out loud
There is a very good chance Gwin's first betrothed was murdered by her. But if she did who's to say it wasn't justified? Maybe he was asking for it you know?
Gwin's favorite mythical creature is a merling and tries to incorporate them in her decorations. Not too many so she's not mistaken as a Manderly
Who: for @dutyvslove @sacrifyed @ofrottenruin
Where: Bazarr, handling something she certainly should not be
Gwin wiped the sweat from her head. She was over heated and the sun was far too harsh for a creature of the ocean. This always led to a bad mood for the Harlaw and danger for everyone else.
Her eyes fell over the many stalls of gold. She had debated swiping something from each of them and stealing away on her ship, but had decided against it. Gwin have already had enough of Dorne, and if she was caught she'd only be forced to stay longer.
Instead she decided to evesdrop on the rest of the crowd. Who had information, who was exporting the best goods, and more importantly who was an easy target.
"Watch it" Gwin hissed to the bystander she brushed her shoulder with. Whoever they were, they were lucky Gwin decided peace that day instead of the violence which she so craved.
