gabriella stumbled upon a vampire feeding from a human and about to attack their friend. gabriella being still a newborn was able to get the vampire away from the still alive human and he then ran off. gabriella looked at the human doing her best to resist the smell of their blood. “you will not remember what happened, you will think that your friend was attacked by an animal and luckily you got away.” she said focusing on the human’s mind to change their memories. the human then ran off and she let out a sigh of relief. but jumped when she noticed someone there. “how much did you see?”

night time stroll

Lila weaved in and out of people on the sidewalk, sidestepping couples and kids. She barely noticed them, she was too lost in her own mind. She was making her way to the coffee shop on the corner. Lila needed someplace where she could think. She turned the corner and slammed right into someone. "Shit." She mumbled and rubbed her forehead.

Lila sat down on the rooftop overlooking the city. She was in the Harlots territory, home sweet home, enjoying a beer and watching the city pass her by. It was a clear and warm night. "Here's to you Lyles." She raised her glass, toasted herself and downed the bottle. She was alone, like she had been for the past few nights. Lila sighed and reached for another bottle, her dark hair swept in front of her face. She looked up and noticed she wasn't alone on the rooftop.
