If Tails ever discovered a new law of physics or something I'd like it to be called the 'Prower Principle'. I don't know what exactly it would be, maybe speed or flying related. But his thesis would definitely be a few hundred pages and studied in Spagonia University.

I'm glad that Sonic now calls Tails 'little bro' in the games, but when is Tails going to call Sonic 'big bro'? Like Tails, are you gonna leave your surrogate brother hanging like that? Why is it one-sided? Is Tails just that unfamiliar with familial relationships? I'm not upset, just confused. And waiting for the moment to happen like a normal person. With a normal amount of enthusiasm and excitement... A very normal amount.

This is a bit of a sad headcannon I have, but surely Tails must have a lot of scars under his fur, right?

Back when he got bullied on Westside Island it was physical. Like how we see his bullies pulling on his two tails in one of the Sonic Origin cutscenes. I can't recall another instance of the franchise canonically stating or showing how bad Tails got bullied. But I don't think it was just the tails pulling. He probably got beaten up or got pelted by rocks and sticks. And whatever else cruel child bullies do. And after he met Sonic they got into a ton of fights with Eggman and his Badniks. Even when he would defeat a bot unscathed, punching and kicking metal would still hurt.

I think the part of his body that has the most amount of cuts and wounds are his hands. He is a very handy person after all. He is always making inventions and gadgets. And when you're constantly soldering, hammering, wiring, you're bound to hurt yourself no matter how skilled and experienced you are. Instead of taking breaks and letting his wounds heal, he just bandages them quickly and moves on like the wound and pain was never there in the first place. In fact, his hands are probably almost completely numb. Who knows if he still has his fingerprints.

On the outside he's a clean and soft child. But underneath is a mangled and hardened kid who never got to live like one.

My headcannon for when Tails grows up is that he'll be taller than Sonic and his voice will be deeper too. Though his time in puberty will not come easy. He'll get ticked off easier, be 1000% more sassy and will constantly try to prove to be completely independent through extreme measures. Getting into arguments will also come easy for the growing fox, even with his closest friends. It's like his personality makes a 180, but he's not malicious or anything. And when he turns around 15 or 16 years old he will get out of his grumpy stage. Adult Tails shivers thinking about how being 12 to 14 years old was like.

Just as how Sonic is the fastest thing alive, I like to think of Tails as being the smartest thing alive. It's a nice and simple contrast of brains and brawn between the two.

I like the idea that even though Tails is a genius there are some mundane things he finds difficult to do. Like folding clothes or tying his shoes. I'm imagining Tails buying a new pair of shoes with laces (he has never worn laces before) that he loves the design of. But then realizes as he's trying on those shoes that he can't tie them and doesn't know how. So every time he wears those shoes he asks Sonic if he can help with tying his shoes. But doesn't tell anyone else, and refuses to get rid of the laces as he associates them with looking mature (since he finds them hard to tie and assumes most people think the same). It's one of those very rare but weirdly specific things Tails prides in and Sonic wishes Tails would be prideful in all the things that Tails is actually good at.

I never understood the saying 'You can't have your cake and eat it too', like, why not? It's my cake. If i bought it, it's with my own money. And if I baked it? You best bet I'm gonna eat my hard work.

I'm obviously joking, but I do genuinely wonder where this saying came from.

Not from me that's for sure though, I will have my cakes and enjoy eating them thoroughly.

Whenever Tails is working on an invention or repairing something, I like to imagine that he then gets hyper-focussed on it. Everything else gets drowned out in the background and he doesn't notice any other sound than his work. When someone enters his workshop they have to try and get his attention without jump scaring him. With a lot of mixed results. He tends to scream in a high pitch. Sometimes he even falls out of his chair completely startled. In the worst case scenario his immediate instinct is to throw whatever he's holding in his hand, for example like a pencil, screwdriver or a wrench at the ‘perpetrator’. Though throwing only ever happens with Sonic, his quick arrival triggers it. Not that it stops Sonic from barging in and startling the poor fox, he thinks it's funny.
