which story could you say is halfway or almost done ? 🙈

Wicked Games chapter 5 is 12k words in but nowhere near done. But I’ve decided to not make it the final chapter, to instead split into chapter 5 and a separate chapter 6. That being said, there’s still so much to write and too overwhelming that I don’t even open it anymore. Maybe in 2026 I will.

Captain’s Reward 3 is about 2k words long and will probably be finished the soonest. Although my fuckign laptop broke so I need to buy a new one before I can continue writing anything.

Andddd chapter 3 of Drifting Further Away/Gone With The Wind has been meticulously planned in my head. Zero words have been written but I reckon it’ll be done before WG5 😭😂

I THOUGHT IT WAS SO ICONIC WHEN OMEGA ESSENTIALLY SLEPT WITH BUCKY BC IT MIRRORS THE STEVE CHEATING SCENE IN PART THREE AND STEVE HAD HIS CRASHOUT LIKE YEAH BITCH THATS WHAT U GET FOR CHEATING ON OUR POOR GIRL IN ANOTHER UNIVERSE. ALSO can we talk abt how that poor professor always seems to get bombarded with these allegations, that poor man is just doing his job like this man if u think abt it was essential to the stomega plot in every universe bc in the og, had he not assigned omega to be his tutor, SHE NEVERRR WOULDVE WILLINGLY BEEN IN THE SAME ROOM AS HIM. and im pretty sure the professor is one of the few ppl who are actually nice to omega in the original series(bc Natasha is only featured in drabbles n spin offs)

I hate that omega had to go through that with Bucky bc you could tell she really really didn’t want to sleep with Bucky but she was basically coerced into doing it just to make him happy and bc he kept saying she had to prove herself to him 😢😢😢 FUCK BUCKY FR

LIKE YES BITCH CRASH OUT FUCK YOU! but also I hated how he got violent in front of omega like that 😢😢😢 bro that was like the worst night ever for omega I think, imagine going through that whole ordeal with Bucky and then coming home to Steve throwing up and crashing out bc he got cheated on 🥀🥀🥀

Like do you think, as the author and from a literary perspective, that is central to omega falling in love with steve? Is it always angsty and messy? Is it the only way a love with someone as fucked up as poytsteve can be fostered?

Idk, this was so particularly angsty to me that I can’t imagine them ending up happy together. I hope they do though.

This is so interesting to think about! And although I don’t know if this is omega’s fate in EVERY au… it does make sense why she ends up falling for Steve and staying with him because she’s lonely and depressed.

Like, she comes from such a broken home, she doesn’t truly know what real love is because she’s never experienced it. Not from her mother or any type of family member. And she’s been told her whole life that it’s basically her fault her dad left, which makes her think she’s the problem deep down and that one day everyone will leave her.

WHICH IS WHY it then makes sense she falls for Steve despite the fact that he initially treats her so badly. He WANTS her like how nobody ever has before. And he’s the only one she has, so of course she latches on to the only love she knows… his love.

If omega hadn’t been lonely and depressed. If she had been confident, surrounded by healthy friendships and happy, then I’m not sure if she’d have fallen for Steve… or at least, if there’s an AU where omega is happy and confident, then Steve would also be not half as evil bc otherwise she wouldn’t fall for him.

I know it’s asking a lot of Steve but he gotta try to think 😭

This has however been the easiest pick between the two out of any of your stories and it’s Steve, and it’s not bc of original poyt Steve either. Bucky can get fucked fucked fucked out of the planet. No redemption. Hope Steve murders him for being near omega when she collapsed before Bucky can explain anything 😤

but IT WAS SO GOOD u are always incredible at creating an atmosphere and such vivid scenes and this piece was just so haunting i loved it.

Firstly Bucky, for someone who was her boyfriend and claimed to care about her so easily, it was so easy for him to drop her like all of that meant nothing! Didn’t even give her the benefit of the doubt, talking about his “prove it” like fuck off!!!

And then Steve! Claiming he’s in love with omega over and over again but not really caring or even asking how she’s feeling or what she’s going through!

All they cared about was their egos!!! FUCK MEN!!!
