ADDING MORE: silas seeing darlings childhood bedroom for the first time! photos of them as a kid, teenager, their extracurricular memorabilia, UGHHHHH I feel like he'd be so in awe and just excited to see more of his darling through objects and their space!
i.e my room has a ton of posters about all kinds of things, so definitely a snapshot of the things I enjoy! It would be so cute to see how silas takes that🥹
I think so too! He's seen Darling in almost only one way, because Darling has never had the space to show him "themselves" in that sense. Darling has always been "Silas's spouse", "the spouse of a mob leader", "the one you never see" etc etc. But here, when he steps into Darling's childhood room, it's almost like he sees them all over again. It's such a different, yet such a similar, person and he loves what he sees. It's like the missing puzzle pieces that Darling hasn't/won't tell him.
I can see Darling send him up on their room while they try to talk to their parents and be like "It's just for two days, please" and when they come up, they see him touch every little object, take photos of things and just smirk at them like "this is yours? You've never mentioned this before".
So, for the first time, he sees Darling through Darling's eyes. And he falls in love all over again.
