I’m glad the flashbacking here sort of serves as a self reflection for sho and a bit of a realization that all the time in the dark world was an emotional wreck of a journey for judai and he might have a tiny bit of blame in it being that for judai. (Cough cough dark magic or not you still kinda set off the moment where it started getting real hellish)
Out of the whole of the main cast (aka the ones who are conversing in this episode) you can really tell sho was affected the most by the losses because not only did judai not return from the dark dimension (we all know reasons for that) that affected him but his brother ryo didn’t either (atleast not until part way into s4 for whatever reason nobody knows) obviously despite ryo being family the bigger one is obviously judai.
but i’m definitely glad he was able to kind of reflect on what he learnt.
