        Hux was far too sore and tired to get Ryann’s full         name to fall from his lips, and he turned over in         bed to pull more sheets over his sweaty body.         Hangovers never treated him well.

                        “I have no idea what I ate at that bar last                         night, but it din’t come out so pleasantly                         as it went in.”

        Flashes of retching gags and silent sobs raked his         mind, hunched over in an alley somewhere after         another one of his episodes… at least he couldn’t         remember what Father had texted him to make him         so upset.

                        “Either way, thank you for the water, Ryann.                         I just hope I didn’t sleep with anyone.”

    “Well that might be due to the fact I can handle my alcohol.”

        Ryann knew her limit, she knew it well and she knew her           tolerance for alcohol was far superior to her brother’s.           That meant whenever there was heavy drinking involve,           she could always enjoy his horrendous hangovers. Even           if that meant she would have to be his caretaker.

    “--I kept an eye on you till you disappeared and I found you      in the back alley. I had to make sure you didn’t cause too      much damage. What happened back there?”

        She made sure to keep her voice quiet because his head          was likely on the edge of exploding. But she had to know          what set him off like that. He was a moody drunk that time.
