Steve swallowed and peaked through the window of what would have been Margaret Carters flat in Brooklyn. All the lights were off so he could barely see a thing. Getting tot he documents weren’t going to be easy. He wore black cargo pants with a white low cut t-shirt. . Didn’t even bother covering his head. He had to get in, grab the documents and leave without leaving any trace of him. Time travel was dangerous. If he left a sock behind it can completely mess up the entire world. He didn’t see how this was going to be any different but he had to do what he could to bring his friends back to defeat Thanos.
The Captain knew very well he could easily kick down the door but he wanted to be respectful. He didnt like the idea of breaking into Agent Carters flat in the first place. The blonde found his way to the office window, the closest entrance to where the files were stored and forced the window open before climbing in.
Using his flashlight he found his way to the filing cabinet and picked the lock. The drawer wasn’t budging so he gave it a tug until the drawer gave out and he fell back, knocking a shelf over and creating a lot of noise from the items that fell off the shelves, losing his flashlight in the process.
In a panic, Steve grabbed the whole drawer and stood up. He needed to get out of there as soon as possible. The soldier barely made it to the window when he heard the door fly open, in the moment he dropped the drawer out of the window and turned around. Big mistake.
