Xinhei isn’t the best dancer in the world, he definitely isn’t, but he’s good enough to be the lead dancer of Impulse and he enjoys dancing. As to how he ended up in this situation is still a bit unclear to him, normally or rather always he prefers dancing alone, he practices alone and for some reason dancing and practice is just not something he normally does with others. Still he is in an idol group and he needs to dance with his members, that he doesn’t mind (that much at least) but it’s rather rare that he dances with anyone but his members. Now? Now he’s dancing with Hyeja, she’s a lead dancer like him, but he’s unsure if she likes to dance with others, he has never asked her. They’re not dancing together because they need to perform together, they’re simply practicing a dance because they want to. Which dance? Troublemaker by troublemaker, a dance where there’s a lot more touching than he had expected, not that he’s uncomfortable with Hyeja, but he’s scared that she is.
With both of them being somewhat good dancers the dance wasn’t too hard to learn, and now they’re at the end of the dance, it normally ends with the male partner kissing the female partners hand, just like now. She’s holding her hand in front of her mouth and Xinhei is breathing heavily, it’s not even like the dance is that hard, but the dance got his adrenaline up. He looks into her eyes a bit longer than what he should, by now he should’ve already kissed her hand and the whole thing would’ve been over, but the music has stopped and now the room is only filled with silence.
And then, then something unexpected happens, his hand from her back he removes and he takes it up to remove her hand, he’s unsure what he’s going to do, but this feels like a heat in the moment, and so after looking at her lips for a couple of seconds he leans into kiss them instead of her hand.
