Maybe this is a controversial take on gyaru culture (the wonderful thing is that gyaru evolves ! We love our OG gyaru girlies , and love the girls who experiment and create new trends or sub culutures!!! ) , is that I don’t think you need to wear wigs or tease the crap out of your hair to sell the fact that your gyaru . I think just putting effort into doing your hair at all is good enough! A high pony done tastefully or a hair braid can be gyaru too!! Confining your hair to 1-2 styles in any subculture takes away individual creativity and expression , AND puts you in a box. You are not a piece of clothing , you don’t belong in boxes! No one does . The whole point is to do yourself up fabulously and feel beautiful! Gal is life !! 💃♥️🥰
