D.E.M.O. 5.0′s Completion
So, as everyone knows I’m an alt of an alt of an alt and sometimes that means an alt takes a back burner when your main has a crap ton of stuff to do but as the new year unfolded, my new form reached completion.
Now, ages ago when I started this project I went with the Maitreya Lara body because it consistently had the most stuff for it and also, to duplicate my skin as a Riku, went with the Nanite System’s Liquid Metal Skin which comes with materials and a hud to add them to the Lara. Choosing a head was harder but in December I went with the LeLutka Raven which was free with group, which was also free.
I tried finding an EvoX head skin that had a look I wanted but wound up sticking to the BOM skin I already had from Nanite and this is where the work began. There’s no materials applier for LeLutka with the Nanite System’s Liquid Metal Skin but if you get into the LeLutka EvoX folder there’s a thing called “Creator Kit LeLUTKA 3.1″ which has instruction on building an applier hud.
If you just follow the instructions it tells you exactly how to make an applier and since the Nanite System’s Liquid Metal Skin comes with the normal and spec maps you can easily add the UUIDs and make your own materials applier for the head. Above you see my simple looking hud that applied the materials. I matched up the glossiness, intensity and environment to the same settings as my body.
The final piece I needed was the eyes. If these look familiar, they should, I made these eyes YEARS ago. Having the power of knowing how to make materials appliers for the skin I made another hud for making my eyes. I then got into TAILOR MAKE section of the LeLutka hud and clicked eyes and set my glow and full bright.
So now, as 2023 starts I’ve finally completed the latest version of myself. However I have been looking at the Reborn body and think I might give that a try. See you next time!
